Twenty three years on from their slightly dodgy, single foray into the charts, Scottish pop sensations, The Majestics, are mourning the loss of Big Jazza - their charismatic front-man - whose Ford Sierra just collided with a bus shelter via an unwelcome late night kebab. With a Silver Jubilee tour booked, an album to cut and a TV documentary in the offing, can Jazza’s wee brother Danny, just washed up from New York with only four dollars to his name, save the day?

In 1987 John Byrne’s award-winning comedy-drama, Tutti Frutti, burst onto the nation’s TV screens, searing itself into a generation’s consciousness in the process. For the stage, John Byrne has created a hugely popular live version of his legendary TV show and it returns following a sell out run in 2006.

With a classic Scottish cast including stars from Monarch of the Glen, Balamory, River City and Chewin' the Fat, Tutti Frutti is hilarious, touching and visually spectacular. Packed with 60s hits including Dream, Dream, Dream; Love Hurts and You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling, Tutti Frutti will have audiences young and old rockin' in the aisles.

"A thoroughly entertaining evening’s entertainment that has the word
smash hit written all the way through it." Edinburgh Evening News * * * *

"This is a splendid, bittersweet night of entertainment" The List * * * *

"Tutti Frutti is set to go down as one of the most successful comedies in the history of Scottish theatre." Daily Telegraph
